Materials:

• colored cardstock
• white cardstock
• printer
• scissors or paper trimmer
• hold punch
• ribbon
• plastic bags
• treats

Step 1:

Download the Treat Bag Pattern.

Step 2:

Cut out the pattern and use it to cut card stock into the two pieces. Fold on dotted lines.

 

Step 3:

Overlap the two pieces at the bottom and secure with tape or glue.  Fold up the sides and fold over the top of piece one to close the bag.  Once attached, it should look like this:

Step 4:

Using a hole punch, make two even holes in the top of the bag (the hold should go through three layers).

 

Step 5:

Fill your plastic bags.  Attach the plastic to the inside with a piece of tape.  Close it up and pull ribbon through the holes at the top.  Tie a bow and attach a valentines card.  I'm including the .psd file I created for ours.  Feel free to use it - just replace my son's name with your own.  :)
